He also contributes as an External Evaluator to the Accreditation Council of Trinidad and Tobago.
Simha’s technical expertise includes safety instrumented systems (ISA-84 / IEC 61511), smart instrumentation, industrial automation, and secure IT/OT convergence in alignment with ISA/IEC 62443 standards. He is an active contributor to the engineering profession through his involvement with the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET-UK) and the International Society of Automation (ISA). His professional interests focus on the practical and ethical integration of AI and data-driven technologies into safety-critical cyber-physical systems.
Suresh has authored more than 50 conference papers, book chapters, and magazine articles, along with 25 Scopus-indexed journal publications covering a range of technical and managerial topics. He has presented at international conferences in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and other countries. He serves as a reviewer for leading academic publishers including Springer, Emerald, and Elsevier. His areas of expertise include renewable energy, asset management, transmission and distribution, energy efficiency, energy conservation, and professional training.
